Coach Geosits grew up in the Lehigh Valley and attended Northampton High School. While at Northampton, he participated in baseball and soccer. As a senior on the baseball team, he was named Team MVP, 1st Team All-Lehigh Valley Conference, and 1st Team All-Area as an outfielder. He holds the single season hit record at Northampton with 37 hits during his senior season.

 

Coach Geosits went on to attend Penn State Berks where he played baseball for 2 seasons. He graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. After graduating from Penn State, he went on to attend East Stroudsburg University where he earned a Master’s degree in Exercise Science.

 

He has many years of experience in the field of strength and conditioning. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. He has interned for both Lehigh University and Harvard University, has been an assistant at Albright and Kutztown University, and prior to coming to Spring-Ford, was the head strength coach for Saucon Valley High School.

 

In his free time, he likes to stay in shape through exercising and hiking with his 6 year old Australian Cattle Dog named Nittany.
